Final Exam Question for Study.com Math 102: College Mathematics

Hello,

Can anyone help with how the final exam works for Math on Study.com?

I'm currently in math 102 and it says that a calculator will be provided and we will be able to use the formula sheet. My questions are:

How is the calculator provided during the final exam?

Should I print the formula sheet prior to the exam and have it out?

Am I allowed to have a sheet of my own notes and formulas out?

Am I allowed to have blank paper to do math on, as well?

Hi Frank,

From what I recall of that particular course taken on study.com, there is an in browser calculator that you are able to use, however I remember being able to use my own calculator. I'd check the syllabus to confirm. Also, I believe you are allowed a blank scratch piece of paper to work out problems and you are allowed to print out the formula sheet in advance as well. But having your own notes is prohibited.

Items Allowed on Study.com Proctored Exam for Math 102:

A non-graphing, scientific calculator (We'll provide you access to Desmos scientific calculator during the final exam.)
Blank scratch paper
Pen or pencil
Formula sheet provided in the 'Studying for Math 102' chapter

Items NOT Allowed on Study.com Proctored Exam for Math 102:

Graphing calculators
Office programs, web browsers, or any programs other than Software Secure (including Study.com lessons)
Textbooks (digital or physical)
Mobile phones, headphones, speakers, TVs, radios
Notebooks or notes
