I just took the class 2 months ago; it's a fairly easy and not as intimidating as it sounds. I would recommend it as an elective. Also, the tests are open book. Hope that helps!

I thought we weren't allowed any resources for BUS303 test? I have been stalling on that one because it's pretty dry but I wanted to read it a few times because I thought we weren't allowed any notes for the proctured exam?

I've taken all the JB Scholars classes, there all pretty straightforward and easy to get through. I took them as fillers in between Sophia courses. The problem is I have a Mac and I struggle with the ProctorU platform for testing. I'm currently in limbo on the CS320, I haven't been able to successfully connect to take the final. It's frustrating.

Hey! I saw you were having issues with the final for protcorU on your Mac. I had the same issue at first. Use a different browser don't use safari. I switched over to google chrome and it works perfect. Hope this helps!!

Hi! I am currently taking it but it is really dry. I thought we couldn't have notes for the final but I just read someone say we can so that gives me a lot of relief. Now I can stop putting off the proctured exam :)

Just to clarify - the Unit tests are all open book and you can use notes. The final is proctored and notes are not allowed. However, the final is only 25 questions, which are taken directly from the Unit tests. :)

Hi all,

I am looking to take this as my next course and hope to get some feedback from those who have already taken it. I see the description says that I will be able to " create a technology strategy for an organization". I'm wondering if there is an assignment in addition to the proctored exam, and if so could I get any tips? I have not had to do any paper assignments other than English Comp I.

This is not a difficult course to do.

The unit tests are open book. the proctored is not.

There is a paper assignment that you have to do, though. It was hard for me, because I am not into business and I only took this course because my coach suggested it. But if you know what you are doing, it will be ok.

Everyone is correct with one minor exception. The Unit tests are all open book. The final is proctored and no notes allowed. There is no paper/assignment requirement for this course currently.
