Yes, I'm wondering the same.... Also, I've started the registration process (study.com) to take the exam but am not finding where or what I need to download - if anything. (MAC OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6) My biggest concern is what if I do not pass the first exam, since weRe so close to the 23rd, will I be able to retake the exam the 2nd time or will I be out of time?

This month's the due dates are tricky. Normally courses have the same end date regardless of provider, but this month is different due to the upcoming holidays. Below are the upcoming deadlines (11:59pm EST):
Study.com 10/23
Sophia 11/1

Yes, thank you! I just found out that, "Yes you will not have access to the exam after 2359 tomorrow 10/23. Do your best to take it earlier in case you have any technical issues. If you do not pass, you can retake the exam withstudy.com after a 3 day waiting period. It normally takes us about a week to find out the results and then we set you up for a retake if necessary."
So so glad to have a few extra hours to practice on the practice exams & flashcards & to lose a little of the test-taking-anxiety!!

Once you are ready to take the final exam, simply click the "Start Exam Registration" button on your dashboard and it will walk you through the exam process. An applet will open on your computer, but you don' t need to download anything in advance.
