Hello!
I have only used study.com, and will be taking ethics either on straighterline or sophia next. Has anyone taken this course in any of these ? any insight into which one would be better?

During the beta testing I took Stats on study.com; never again. Straighterline is far better and you have assess to youtube training videos which was a great help.

I guess we all have preferences. I love everything about Study.com. I started with Straighterline and regretted choosing them. Fortunately, I quickly switched to Study.com and have loved it to this day. Overall, it depends on your degree plan so choose the appropriate course provider.

I took Ethics on Straighterline and really enjoyed the class. Sophia is my preferred platform, but i also like Straighterline. Both platforms allow you to use course material, as well as a page of notes during your tests. I struggle with test anxiety, so knowing I have the ability to check my notes when I hit a roadblock relieves a lot of that anxiety.

are all of the finals on straightliner open book? i have test anxiety too!

Yes, the tests on Straighterline are open book!

good to know. I struggled with the proctored final on study.com but I think if open book was allowed I would ve been good.

I just wrapped up Ethics on Sophia.com. I really liked it. Sophia offers three different professors lecturing on the same content. The first chapter challenged me. (Just push through it!) The rest of the course was moderate and much of it was intuitive. I love that all of the course content and a page worth of notes are available to use during the final. Whew! I survived!.
