Choosing website

I love Sofia.com but on some of my course choices there’s only study.com which I don’t like as much and straighterline. Which do u prefer and why.

Hi Patricia! I have only been able to use Study.com for my courses so I can't say if it's easier or harder then the other platforms. I will say I do like Study.com though. The courses are easy to follow and understand. They have a section to help study the course at the end too.

My advice with Study.com would be to take the final exam about 2 weeks prior to the end of the course so you have a chance to retake it you don't like your score.

Hi Patricia,

I've only ever taken Study.com (SC), which I really enjoy. I've heard from other people who have used Sophia and Straightliner that SC is the easiest format to use.

What do you like abut Sophia?

Sofia has at least four professors to chose from apart from the written form which comes in handy when we’re in the air. Their dashboard is more complete and gives you a guide as to where you should be depending on the end date you choose.

I have used both. I started with study because it is easier, mobile, and you can retake your quizzes until you get it right and the final test is recorded so you can take it on your schedule when you are ready. Its great.

I tried straighterline for my American Gov. class because I love history and wanted to really read about it and that's what you do with straighterline is read. The book is avail on mobile versions and you can buy the book. The final is scheduled and you are conferencing with a real person watching you while you take test. I actually liked that better than study.com due to clarity of expectations and approval of environment right away. They used to let you use book or notes but as of a year ago that changed. So, check their site for the allowed resources on test and that may help you decide too.

So, study is much easier but for certain courses I will be using straighterline.
