Howdy All!
I'm a new scholar and about 35 years since my last college level class. I start on 01 July and this will be my first full online course. My first course is Sociology 101: Intro to Sociology on Study.com.
Any tips or insight you can provide so make my first course and successful and pain-free as possible? Appreciate any suggestions! I truly want to start of this experience on the right foot.

First off let me welcome you back to college!
For me, Study.com is the best platform for the courses, they have an app(for both apple and android) in which you can download your lessons and be able to work on them even when your offline, this come in handy since you have access to your lessons virtually anywhere. The courses are very well organized in lessons that take from 3 to about 12 minutes each. I would recommend setting daily or weekly goals based on how many lessons your class has and when you plan on completing it.

I am getting ready to take the proctored on this one. I get very stressed out and nervous with taking tests. Any tips to prepare?
I took that exam last year but the only thing I can recommend is to go over the chapter tests and then try taking the practice final exam a few times! By then, you should have a good idea of what's going to be on the final and a good review from taking those tests. I remember it being around 100 questions but it wasn't too difficult after doing the practice exams.
