I just submitted my enrollment request for English Comp II. I haven't written a paper in 16+ years, and I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone taken this class? Any tips?

Took it last year. Not bad at all. It was probably about 30 years since I wrote a paper, and had no problem with it. Good luck!

Hi Roy,
How long did it take you to complete the course? I am doing two courses a month to get the Associates by December so I am trying to figure out to balance the timing. I typically can only spend around 2 hours each night on it. Thank you!

Like you, I am hurriedly trying to complete all courses by December, 2020 because I opted out. As it turns out, the international Blue Cities were given only 1 option (Cash Out) and must complete scholar's program by December, 2020.
So I am attempting to finish at a great speed. Most of my remaining courses includes a written/paper sections so more time is needed to complete them.
Perseverance is the key, so keeping working at it.

Hi Samiya and Vincent,
I find that it helps to read each of the paper’s requirements early and to work on them a little bit each day while still going through the coursework on Study or Sophia. This way you don’t have to struggle to write multiple papers at the end and you also reduce the chance of overwhelming yourself. If I remember correctly, English Comp II had multiple papers. If you break up the work into smaller chunks (like finding sources, creating your references pages, outlining, writing, editing, etc.) you will be able to see your progress better.

Study.com is my favorite. I love the short vidoes, additionally the quizzes once pass adds to your final exam score.
