Hi:

I I took the LTI tests. I am not sure if it the same that you are talking about. Spanish is my 1st language, so it was not so difficult. I took all of them: writing, reading, oral, listening. The higher the grade more credits you get (for each). I got 10 courses and credit overage.

When I did it, I had to have a headset with microphone. They watch you doing the tests ,(the same as other tests if you course through study.com). 

1st they ask you if you know about certain themes: business, ecology, entertainment, other, etc...They will ask you about that. And it will be about you level, native speaker, lerner, etc...(level 1, 2, 3....) When is time for the oral, they ask you through a recording to explain about something in 2 min: EX: So they tell you to talk about why US is cutting business with China (or something like that) and you have to explain it.

Listening: they have a recording and they ask about what it was said. 

Writing: they tell you to write a letter, or to a newspaper, or to your boss about some specific topic.

Reading: you have certain time to read a paragraph and then questions about it.
